For the best results I recommend using our homemade Brioche Gluten Free Sandwich Bread.

Depending on the size/type of bread used you may need more or less egg mixture.  This recipe makes 2 large pieces of french toast per person for 2 people.  It can easily be increased to make larger batches.

Quick Breakfast Tip:  Cook your french toast and then allow to cool COMPLETELY on paper towels or a cooling rack.  Put them in Gallon ziplock bags and freeze.  To serve simply warm up in a gluten free toaster, toaster oven or air fryer.

As the granddaughter of a baker, when I got my celiacs diagnosis I refused to settle for 'palatable' just because I couldn't have gluten any more. I started this blog to share celiac friendly, gluten-free recipes, inspired by my family recipes. I am a busy mom of 5 who is balancing a new gluten free lifestyle that is a mix of homesteading and on the go friendly.
